A Weekend

A weekend being what a weekend should be, looks something like:

• Get out of work on Friday at a relatively recent hour; propose last minute plans for Saturday that work out
• Wake up sans alarm on Saturday early enough to run errands and hit the road at a decent hour
• Talk to brother while running errands and not argue
• Tossing football with the boys, trip to whole foods, trip to deli and wine store
• Spicy sopresatta, cheese I cannot pronounce or spell and crackers as appetizers
• Good Pale Ale
• Good wine
• Dinner on the grill
• Lavainne cookies for dessert
• White Russian for dessert part 2 while deciding next steps
• Elks lodge for pool and ping pong
• Remembering to drink water before bed
• Brushing teeth in bathroom and laughing with two of my closet friends
• Waking up CRAZY early on Sunday; hugs from cute kids; no emails from work
• Toasted blueberry bagel with butter
• I-78 with little traffic
• Making 11:30 AM Mass without really even trying
• Plans with self to run
• Plans with self to see Dark Knight
• Plans with self to relax
• Olympics on in the background
